One hundred years
since the first recorded village carnival

Carnival 2017
  Carnival will be on Saturday, 8th July. As usual it will start with the procession through the village and continue on the field with the usual stalls, teas, bar, barbecue, sports and a Fun Dog Show. The floats will leave the Taurus car park at 2pm and the walkers will join them at Millbrook Green.

  Prizes (TBC) for the best floats are £200 (The Bledisloe Challenge Cup), £100 and £75 and all other entries will receive £30. There are also prizes for the walking entries.

  A new carnival committee will be planning and organising the 2017 Carnival. The committee has  David Adams, Colin and Stella Newman, Brian and Sandra Rickards, Sandra Sargent together with David Greaves and John Ridley from the Hall trustees and the chair is Mark Sargent.
